Bénédicte Beaugeois

Bénédicte Beaugeois is an international programmes manager and cultural diplomacy practitioner with 15+ years of experience at the intersection of education, culture, and multilateral cooperation.

As Founder and Director of the Festival du Film Merveilleux et Imaginaire (36 partner countries, 16 editions), she has built a hands-on track record in international cultural cooperation, creating channels for cultural & educational dialogue through networks of independent festivals and partnerships with the Alliance Française, French Institutes, and foreign cultural institutes worldwide, negotiating institutional partnerships, and designing educational programmes aligned with the SDG 4 agenda on inclusive, quality education.

Her engagement with education diplomacy is both theoretical and institutional: she holds an Executive Diploma in Cultural Diplomacy and International Relations (UNITAR–ICD), a Bachelor’s degree in Education Sciences (Université Paris VIII), an a Diplôme d’études supérieures Cinématographiques (ESEC Paris), an Executive Certificate in Coaching, Leadership & Change (ESSEC Business School), and advanced training at Applied Geopolitics at IEGA — Institut d’études de géopolitique appliquée.

Currently Coordinator at EMCC, managing a professional network of 3,000+ members across national delegations. She previously represented Dyslexia International at UNESCO Paris, advocating for inclusive education before national delegations and international committees and she is Former Board Member & Director of Technology at the American Women’s Club of London.
